Ready Without Rushing
Isaiah 28:16
“One who trusts will not panic.”
—
NRSV
When endings approach, the temptation is to rush—to finish everything, tie up every loose end, prove something before the clock runs out. But trust offers another posture: readiness without frenzy. You can prepare for what's ahead without hurrying through what's now. Panic is not required. Presence is. Let this day be full not because you crammed it, but because you inhabited it.
Ponder This
Am I rushing to finish the month—or trusting God to carry what's incomplete?
Today's Practice
When you feel the urge to rush today, pause and say: "I trust. I don't panic."
Speak This Truth
“I am ready without rushing. My trust replaces my frenzy.”
