Letting Joy Accompany Faithfulness
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
—
Joy is not a reward for endurance. It is part of how endurance is sustained.
Many people assume joy arrives after faithfulness has been proven. Scripture suggests otherwise. Joy strengthens you while you remain faithful. It is not dependent on ease. It flows from connection.
Jesus lived with joy even in demanding seasons. He celebrated. He rested. He noticed goodness. Joy kept His engagement from becoming burdensome.
Letting joy accompany faithfulness means you notice what is life-giving even while you carry responsibility. You allow moments of gratitude, laughter, and beauty to replenish you.
Joy does not minimize difficulty. It keeps difficulty from defining everything.
May invites you to welcome joy without guilt. It is not indulgence. It is wisdom.
Where can I allow joy to support my faithfulness today?
Notice one small moment of joy today and allow yourself to receive it fully.
Speak This Truth
“I welcome joy as strength and support. My faithfulness is lightened by gratitude.”
